Shooting Pow Pow

In the last few days, I've done some pretty exciting stuff.. I've had root canal, played one of my favourite parties yet (Hot Rod), had an ingrown toenail fixed up and done TWO super radical photo shoots. Its not long till I pack my bags full of ridiculous outfits and leave Sydney for the rest of the year. Japan, Peru, London, America, India awaits... But what I would like to show, is some photos from the marvelous shoots I did this week. One was with Milos Mali. We have been waiting a whole year to work together, and we finally had our chance. The second shoot was with a good friend Mark Sherborne, we shot in the heat of the night. Both shoots were a lot of fun and I was super pleased with the prints... The fabulous Fringe

So I spent last week in Adelaide in the gardens of unearthly delights at the Fringe. Had such a weird and wonderful time. Met a bunch of performers I'd never met before and soaked up the magical atmosphere TO THE MAX! The vibe is always buzzing and everything is alive. I live for the fringe performing arts festivals. I am constantly inspired and consequently, have the highest possible energy. You really feel the love and time put in to make it happen too. The festival goes for 28 days... Although it seems like ground hog day to the performers doing the same show over and over, each day is a different show to those who come watch. All shows I caught this year managed to satisfy me and do the trick. The highlights (and must sees) being : the extra fabulous Le Gateau Chocolat, Sam Simmons, Ali Cook, Imaan, David Quirk and of course... The WAU WAU SISTERS (which were my personal fave). If you ever see any of these names on a bill ... GO SEE THEM! LET THEM DAZZLE YOU! And stay tuned at the next Adelaide Fringe where I will have my full 'Gaffys Rapping Musical' show being performed live each day too...!

Loose Ends is THE ONE!

As far as I’m concerned, Loose Ends (held at Phoenix bar) is the best and most consistent party in Sydney. Think of a land where Grace Jones rode a unicorn who vomited up a space for the alternate gay world/freaks. It brings me great pleasure to walk through the doors knowing I can wear whatever the fuck I want, do whatever the fuck I want and dance however the fuck I want to dance (even more than usual)! There is no comparison really. I love nothing more than to grind my ass up and down that dance floor to the sweet sounds Matt Vaughan and friends play. It is a pocket I am so happy I have found in the depths of Sydney’s dull denim jacket where you can enter the void and freak the fuck out. All my love goes out to the creatures who make it happen. Matt Vaughan, David Lloyd, Justin Shoulder, Dallas Dellaforce and Regrette to name a few. These creatures are my biggest inspirations in Sydney. Great music, fabulous creatures and genuine goooooood vibes. What else could you ask for?! THIS is where its at people. Fuck Saturdays... its ALL about Sunday!

Rave NOT Rape!

SO. It has been brought to my attention that fellow human beings on this planet have concluded in the below video that i am indeed saying RAPE at precisely 1 minutes 49 seconds in when i am in fact really barking RAVE. I order you to abort those thoughts. I am saying RAVE, i promise! Just wanted to clear that up... Now less rape, more rave please!

Socrates Mitsios is pure genius. I love everything about his style, work and manner. We did a shoot together last year which was deep as fuck. I have nothing but love for this man and his creations. Pink Hair

Babes..... Im backkk!! Back in Sydney and loving it. Its been four days now and so far, I have been to some REALLY fun parties! Have spent most of my time with Gusburger and his little monster - Xanthe hanging at the beach, painting faces and grinding up and down dance floors. Saturday I attended Tom Tilley from Triple Js birthday in St Peters with classic tracks played by the Sex Hoof herself- Ariane Halls and another favourite person of mine... Tyson Koh. It was hit after hit after HIT with EVERY BODY freaking out all night. Sunday was a whole nother story.... wow like WOW! Talk about party..... It was freak central. I DJed and performed at Loose Ends and really out did myself. Lizard Tits was in full force and George Michael himself was there to watch. Since I shaved my head and died the top pink, I feel like a new me. Even MORE me if that makes sense. I was in full primal form and loving it. New Years YES!

Awww so sad the New Years experience is over.. I have never uttered these words before. London is indeed the place to be. Had such fun with the rubbish fairies, in the warmth of their colourful abode. We made it through the night into the new year arriving at The Shed, where a tranny disco takes place along side a chacuzzi, for the amazog tran- A Man To Pets birthday. I spent my time there painting unexpected faces with my five year old friend Willow. I gave myself a two hour nanna nap that afternoon before heading to Dalston Superstore where my new year experience climaxed. I performed on top of the bar and had a fabulous evening with John Sizzle, Ilona International, Allan Huge Shame and mister tutti frutti Sqeaky himself. Was the perfect ending to my favourite year yet. 2011...... here I come!!!
